Found something you want to save? You can now send links, text, images, PDFs, and videos straight to a Board from other apps on your Android phone, like Chrome, your Gallery, or Files. No copying, pasting, or re-uploading needed!
How to Share to Boards
- In the app you're using, tap its Share button.
- Choose Boards from your phone's share menu.
- If you're not signed in, sign in to Boards. Your shared content will wait for you.
- Pick the Board you want to add it to, or create a new Board.
- Your content is added to the Board.
What You Can Share
- Links: Added as a link card. If the app you're sharing from includes a title, Boards keeps it.
- Text: Added as a text card.
- Images: Added as an image card, with upload progress shown while it loads. You can share up to 10 images at once.
- PDFs: Added as a PDF card. The file keeps its original name.
- Videos: Opens the video upload screen, where you can add a title before it's added to your Board.
What You Can't Share (Yet)
- Audio files: Audio files like MP3s can't be shared to Boards.
- More than 10 images at once: Share them in smaller batches.
- Unsupported file types: Boards will let you know right away if it can't accept a file, before you pick a Board.
Troubleshooting
- I don't see Boards in my share menu.
Make sure your Boards app is updated to the latest version. Some phones only show a few apps at first, so tap More or scroll through the share menu to find Boards. - My video didn't upload.
Videos shared to Boards go through the same checks as videos added from your gallery, including length and size limits. If your video is too long or too large, try a shorter clip. - My image or PDF is taking a while.
Images and PDFs need to upload before they finish appearing on your Board. A weak connection can slow this down, so check your connection and give it a moment.
