This article explains how to find and open the Google Sheet collecting responses from a form within your page.
Steps to Locate Your Connected Google Sheet
- Enter Your Page and Select the Form: Navigate to the page that contains your form and tap on the form itself to enter the editing or viewing area.
- Navigate to the Connection Details: Tap the next area arrows (→) to move to the subsequent page within the form settings.
- Identify the Connection Field: On this next page, you will see the details of where your form is connected.
- You should see a field that displays the full URL of the attached Google Sheet.
- Next to the URL, you will find a directional icon/button designed to open that sheet.
- Open the Sheet: Tap the directional icon. This action will open Google Sheets in a new window or app and take you out of the Boards app.
- This is where you can find all the responses submitted through your form.
Important Connection Notes
Visibility of the Connection Field:
- The URL and directional icon will only be visible if the section immediately above this area clearly indicates that the form is connected to a Google Sheet.
- If your form is not yet connected to Google Sheets, this field will be absent. Instead, you will see a button that prompts you to "Connect to Google Sheets."
Email Requirement:
The function to connect your form to Google Sheets will not be complete unless the email address you are using is a Gmail account (i.e., an email managed by Google).
