If you have created a complex Form and want to use it on a new Page without starting from scratch, you can duplicate it using the Content from my Boards feature.
The good news is that all the fields, button text, and redirection settings will copy right over!
Step-by-Step Duplication
- Go to the New Page: Navigate to the new Page where you wish to add the duplicated Form.
- Add Section: Tap Add Section (or the + icon).
- Select Content: Select the option Content from my Boards.
- Find the Source Form: Tap through your Content (which could be in other Boards or under your main Pages section) to find the Page that has the original Form you wish to duplicate.
- Select and Insert:
- Once on the source Page, scroll to the bottom to find the Form.
- Tap on the Form.
- Tap the box in the top right corner and select Insert.
The Form is now on your new Page!
Confirm Settings and Connect Google Sheets
While the Form structure copies over, it needs to be connected to a new spreadsheet for collecting responses.
- Confirm Fields: Tap into the new Form and confirm all of the fields and required settings are correct.
- Review Settings: Tap Next and scroll through the Form Settings.
- Connect Google Sheets: If the original Form was attached to a Google Sheet, you must connect it again.
- Important Note: This new Form and Page will create a completely different Google Sheet for responses. It will not send new responses back to the original Form's sheet.
- Verify Redirection: Confirm that the redirection settings (if applicable) and the call-to-action button language have copied over correctly. Everything you set as the call to action will still be there.
- Save: When you are done configuring the Form, hit Done to save your new Page.
Your duplicated Form is now ready to collect responses on your new Page!
