In addition to sharing a whole Board, you can share a specific Folder via a web link. This is a powerful way to deliver targeted content to prospects or team members.
You can quickly share a specific Folder via a web link with prospects or team members using your mobile app, the Boards Keyboard, or the desktop editor.
Folder Sharing via Boards Keyboard (Mobile)
This method is ideal for quick sharing directly within a messaging conversation:
- Open the Boards Keyboard in the messaging app where you want to share your Folder.
- Select Folder: Tap the Folder you’d like to share.
- Tap Share: Tap the share icon in the upper right corner of the Boards Keyboard to generate and share the link.
Folder Sharing via Boards App (Mobile)
This method is useful when you are navigating your Boards within the app itself:
- Open the Folder you’d like to share on the Boards app.
- Tap Share: Tap the share icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Choose Channel: Share the Folder via your preferred channel.
Folder Sharing via Boards Desktop
This method allows you to easily share a Folder while working from your computer:
- Navigate to Folder: Open the Folder you'd like to share on the Desktop editor.
- Access Share: Click the arrow beside the Folder's name.
- Click Share: Click Share folder.
Recipient Options via the Shared Link
When you share a Folder as a link, you must be aware of the consequences of this action before proceeding.
Join the Entire Board
Currently, when you share a Folder with others, they will receive a Call-to-Action (CTA) to join your entire Board if the Board invitation link to add members is activated.
- Result: They can tap Join Board and gain access to all the content on that Board. This way, they will receive all the updates in real-time because they become Members of your original Board.
⚠️Important Note
- Current Limitation: At the moment, there isn’t an option to save just the specific Folder as-is without becoming a Member or saving individual pieces.
