The Boards Desktop interface makes it easy to manage and organize your Content using Folders. You can quickly access all management actions from a single drop-down menu.
How to Manage Your Folders
- Go to the Folder: Navigate to the specific Folder you wish to manage.
- Open the Drop-down Menu: Click the drop-down menu beside the Folder's name.
You will see the following management options:
- Add Folder:
- Action: This creates a new subfolder within the current destination Folder. This is the best way to further organize the Content inside.
- Share Folder (Must have the Boards App to view):
- Action: This generates a direct web link to the Folder.
- Result: A notification will confirm Link copied. The link is now copied to your clipboard.
- Usage: You can now paste the link into any messaging app, email, or destination where you want to send it. This takes the recipient to that specific Folder's Content on your Board. They will be asked to Join Now if not a member or Open in App if already a member of the Board.
- Rename Folder:
- Action: This allows you to edit the Folder name.
- Delete Folder:
- Action: This permanently deletes the Folder and all Content contained within it.
Warning: The system will ask you to confirm the deletion because this action is permanent and cannot be undone.
