If you notice that your Boards app is not displaying the latest features, updates, or improvements, this is likely due to your device's operating system (OS) version.
To provide the best experience, maintain security, and keep up with evolving technology, Boards must align with the most current OS versions.
For iOS Users (iPhone/iPad)
We have discontinued support for iOS 12 and below.

| When did this take effect? | The changes are effective starting with the launch of the Boards app iOS v2.9.0. From this version onward, new features and updates are no longer supported on iOS 12 or older. |
| What will happen to my content? | Your Boards app will still function. All your content will remain accessible, and you can still share and send content from the app and keyboard. However, you will not receive any future feature updates or improvements. |
How to Upgrade Your iOS Version:
- Connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi. (Remember to back up your iPhone first!)
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and tap General.
- Tap Software Update.
- If an update is available, tap Download and Install. (You may need to enter your passcode.)
For Android Users
To ensure you receive the latest updates, check your device settings to confirm you are running the most current version of the Android OS available for your device.
How to Check for Available Updates:
- Open the Settings app on your Android device.
- Scroll down and tap on Software Update (may also appear under About phone or System).
- Tap on Check for updates. If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to download and install it.
Tip: In the Software Update section, ensure that the Auto download over Wi-Fi option is enabled. This will allow your device to automatically download updates when connected to Wi-Fi.
