Follow-ups helps you know exactly who needs you today. Add the people you’re talking to, pick when you want to reach back out, and Boards reminds you when it’s time. No sticky notes, no scrolling back through DMs, and no trying to remember who said “let me think about it.”
Note: Follow Ups is available on the Boards mobile app for iPhone and Android.

Add Someone to Follow Ups
- Open Follow Ups: Tap Follow-ups in the bottom menu.
- Tap the +: Tap the + icon in the top right corner.
- Choose who: Pick someone from your phone contacts, or type a new name and tap Add as new contact. The first time, Boards will ask for access to your contacts so you can choose who to add.
- Add a label: Choose Lead, Prospect, Customer or Ambassador.
- Add a note: Write a quick reminder of where things left off, like “Met at book club.”
- Pick when: Choose Tomorrow, In 3 days, In 7 days, or tap Pick date & time.
Your Follow-ups tab keeps everyone organized in three sections:
- Needs attention: The people you need to follow up with today.
- Reminders: Upcoming follow-ups, with the date they’re due.
Done: Follow-ups you’ve completed.
Open Boards each morning, and you’ll know exactly who needs you today.
Pro Tip: Add a few quick replies to your Board as Text content, like “Checking in after a few days,” so the right words are always ready. See Adding Content.
Your Privacy
Only you can see your follow-ups.
- Only the people you choose: Follow Ups doesn’t import your whole phone book. You add only the people you’re talking to and the people you meet.
- Your keyboard stays private: Boards never sees what you type on your regular keyboard. It only sees the content you add to Boards or send with it.
