Before you start, select the billing cycle that works best for you:
- Monthly Subscription: Flexibility to manage your subscription month-to-month.
- Annual Subscription: Select the annual option to save money and lock in the best value rate for 12 months.
How to Upgrade Your Boards Account
You can upgrade your plan directly within the Boards application or via the desktop web experience.
Method 1: Boards Upgrade Tab (Best for Mobile)
- Enter the Boards app and navigate to the Boards Upgrade tab.
- Select your desired plan and the billing cycle (Monthly or Annual).
- Tap on "Subscribe."
- Confirm your action via the payment method linked to your App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android) account.
- You will receive a confirmation message in the app.
Method 2: Account Settings
- Enter the Boards app or log into your Boards account on desktop.
- Go to Account or click on your account name to navigate to the subscriptions account settings.
- Tap or click on Upgrade.
- Select your desired plan and the billing cycle.
- Tap or click Subscribe.
- For Desktop: Complete your billing information and click Continue, then enter your payment method.
Note: If upgrading via desktop, subscription information will be sent to the email address provided during checkout. - For Mobile: Confirm your action via the App Store or Google Play payment.
What to Expect After Upgrading
Automatic Renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the subscription period you selected (monthly or annual). This ensures uninterrupted access to your higher capacity plan.
Renewal and Cancellation
- How to Renew: Renewal happens automatically. You don’t need to do anything to keep your plan active.
- How to Cancel: To avoid further renewal charges, you must cancel your subscription through the platform where you originally purchased it (App Store, Google Play, or Paddle). Visit our article Canceling and Refunds for full, step-by-step instructions.
What Happens to My Content if I Downgrade or Don't Renew?
Don't worry, your content is safe! If you downgrade or if your subscription expires and you move back to the Free plan:
- Your existing Boards and content will remain intact.
- You will lose access to features specific to the paid plan (like Editors or Analytics).
- You will be limited by the Free plan's capacity. Any Boards or content items over the Free plan limit (e.g., more than 2 active Boards) will be marked as inactive until you upgrade again.
