As a Member of a Shared Board, you have the ability to duplicate the content you need for your personal use. Copying content to your Personal Board is essential for building your own customizable system and ensuring you have permanent access to your favorites.
How to Copy Content to Your Personal Board
You can copy an entire Board or selected folders/items, provided the Board owner has not enabled copy restrictions. The Copy function allows you to duplicate Content and paste it within the same Board or between different Boards.
- Enter the Board: Open the Board that contains the content you want (this can be a Shared Board or another Personal Board).
- Select Content: Tap "Select" (or the three dots ⋯). Select the Folders and Content Pieces you wish to copy.
- Copy: Tap the Copy button.
- Choose Destination: Navigate to your desired Personal Board (or create a new one).
- Paste: Select "Paste here."
Note on Restrictions: If you do not see the Copy option, the Board owner has restricted copying. You will need to reach out to the owner to request permission. See this article for more information.
New Ownership and Customization
Once the content is successfully copied and pasted to your Personal Board, it now belongs entirely to you!
- Full Ownership: The content is now yours to edit, move around, delete, or customize as you see fit.
-
No More Updates: Crucially, the content is now disconnected from the original Shared Board. Once copied, no future updates from the original Board owner will be received on your copied version.
