With the Boards Messages feature, you can engage and update everyone on your board, no matter where they are, in one simple click, instantly improving your team's communication and alignment.
As a board owner or co-editor, this new feature enables you to send messages to everyone on your board. You can let them know about anything and everything, including new products, training videos, launches, best practices, marketing campaigns, and more!
As a board member, you’ll be notified if you receive a message on a board. Just make sure to Allow notifications on your phone so you don't miss anything!
Learn how to send board messages to your board members (only board owners and co-editors can send board messages on Boards with 2 or more members):
- Open the Boards app, tap your board, and tap on the “Send Message” icon 💬
- Add text content (you will be able to add photos, and other types of media in the future) and a title (optional)
- Tap Preview when you're ready to review your message.
- Tap Post to send the board message.
- Get a confirmation message 👌🏼
- Your message will be seen in the ¨Messages¨ tab
- Board members will receive a notification when a message is sent.
How to delete a message (post creators, and only post creators, can delete a message):
- Tap the ¨Messages¨ tab and go to the message you want to delete
- Tap the 3 dots
- Tap Delete Message
- Confirm that you want to delete the message.
- Get a confirmation message 👌🏼
- You will no longer see the message in the ¨Messages¨ tab
Additionally, as a board member or owner, you can see all your boards messages by:
- Opening the Boards app
- Tapping on the ¨Messages¨ tab on the bottom right side of the screen
- All the messages for your boards will appear
- You can select a specific message to view it in more detail
