Sharing your Boards (Android)

In Boards, you can invite friends and colleagues to your team and share your boards, no matter where they are! Work together remotely to maximize collaborative efficiency.

You can share a Board at different access levels, allowing you to customize the permissions for each user or enable users to co-edit your Board.

There are Two Ways to Invite members to join your Board:

• Board Sharing via Email

1. Open the Boards app, enter your Board, and tap on the +👤Add members button
2. Tap Add members via email
3. Add the email and tap "done"
4. Tap Add members
5. You will receive a confirmation message 👌🏼

This is what the invitation email will look like on your members inbox:

• Board Sharing via an Invite Link

1. Open the Boards app, enter your Board, and tap on the +👤Add members button
2. Allow joining this Board via links. This means that users will be able to join the Board from a landing page created for this specific Board.
3. Tap on the Share invite link button

4. Recipients will be able to enter their emails on the invitation page.

Your members will see an invitation page where they can enter their emails to join your Board.

Board Sharing via link:

1. Tap the “share” icon, and choose the channel you want to share.

2. Recipients will receive a link like showed in the image.

Recipients will need to tap "Open in App. If the invite link is enabled, recipients will see the button "Join Board" and they will be able to join your entire Board as a member.

To See Who Has Access to Your Board:

1. Open the Boards app, enter your Board, and tap on the +👤Add members button
2. Tap the 3 dots
3. Tap View members

Can View and Share: Members who join your Board via email will appear as "Can View and share". They can access all the content on your Board and its future updates, but they cannot modify the content. Only co-editors have this permission. Additionally, they can add other members to the Board via email. This is the default setting when adding members via email.

Can View Only: Members who join your Board via an invite link will appear as "View Only."

FAQ

1. Can I create a board together with other teammates?

Yes,  you'll be able to collaborate and create boards with others. The board owner has to allow the board's members to co-edit the board. Check out this article (iOS / Android) to learn how to do it.

2. Can I remove a member from my list?

Yes, the owner can remove members at any point. Check out this article (iOS / Android) to learn how to do it.

3. Can I prevent team members from sharing my board?   

Yes. You can change members' permissions at any point. Check out this article (iOS / Android) to learn how to do it.

4. Will my team members be able to edit a shared board's content?
