1. How many trial days will I get?
If you are already using Boards you will receive a 14-day free trial.
New users signing up to Boards after the free plan update will receive a 15-day trial.
2. What is included in the trial period?
The trial period includes access to all the features Boards has to offer including unlimited Boards, unlimited shares, Web Pages, Forms and more.
3. What will happen after the trial period ends?
Once your trial period is over, your account will be switched to the free plan automatically. When you first log in to either the app or desktop version, you will be prompted to either upgrade to maintain full access to all features and all your Boards or remain on the free plan. See the next question for what’s included in the free plan, starting August 14th,2024.
4. What does the Free plan include?
Starting August 14th, 2024, the free plan allows you to view and share content from one Shared Board (a Board received from your leader or another person) and from Sponsored Boards (official brand Boards).
In the free plan, you won’t have the ability to:
- View, edit, and share content on personal Boards.
- View, edit, and share pages and forms.
- Co-editors capabilities - edit and add content in shared Boards
5. Is it possible to switch the shared Board I have selected to activate?
Certainly. You have the option to leave the current active shared Board and select a different one to activate. Please note: When you leave a Board, it doesn't stay on your Boards list.
6. Will I be notified when my trial ends?
Yes, you will receive a clear notification in the app during the trial period indicating how much time is left before your trial ends. Additionally, you will receive email several days before the trial ends, as well as when the trial actually ends.
7. What will happen to my personal Boards after the trial ends?
Your Boards will become inactive, so you won't be able to add, edit, view, or share any content. The content will remain untouched and all functions will be restored once you upgrade. If you have Board members, they will still have access to the content on the Board, and will be able to share it.
Your Boards will stay on the Boards list in the app.
8. What will happen to the Web Page I created and shared with others?
Your Web Page will become inactive, meaning you can still view it in preview mode on the app but you won't be able to make changes to this web page. However, any one who views this web page on a web browser can still access and interact with the web page.
9. Can I contribute content as a co-editor on a shared Board?
You can contribute content as long as you are in the trial or have the Business subscription. In the free plan co-editors are limited to viewing the Board, sending messages, and adding members.
10. What should I do to avoid being moved to the free plan?
To ensure continued access to all your content and features, we recommend upgrading to the Business plan on the Boards app or desktop before your trial period expires.
11. What is the price of the Business plan?
