How to add a page from scratch to your Board (Boards Desktop)

Boards lets you create a web page on the go with just a few clicks. We call them pages :)

Pages let you combine multiple content pieces like text, images, videos, or links in one web page that anyone can access online.

Create a page with the content you already have available on Boards, or add new content to your page the same way you add it to your boards.

Use pages to create anything you like: Product pages, RSVP pages, Training pages, Seller's Profile pages for Instagram, etc.

How to create a Page

1. In your Board, click the "+" icon.
2. Select Web page.
3. Select: Start from scratch.
4. Name the page by clicking on the upper left side of the screen.
5. Click Done.

 

 

Get the link to your page on the upper right side of the screen.  When you share your page with someone, they receive it as a link they can follow to see your page online. Ex: https://boards.com/a/GtjmYh.4ALZqZ

 

 

How to add content to a Page

You can add new content to your page or select it from your boards. You can edit content on the left side of the screen and preview how your page will look on the right side.

You can add seven types of content to a page: 

• Headlines
• Paragraphs
• Images
• Videos
• PDFs
• Youtube/Vimeo links
• Buttons (Instant connections to top apps, URLs, and communication tools)
• Forms (Learn more here)

Headline: 

1. In the content tab, select Headline.
2. Add a headline.
3. Then, to save, click Done.

 

Paragraph: 

1. In the content tab, and select Paragraph.
2. Add your paragraph.
3. Then, to save, click Done.

 

Image: 

1. On the page, click the Edit icon on the upper right side of the screen.
2. In the content tab, select Image.
3. Select the image/s that you want from your computer and click open.

Note: You can upload several images. Select them and click "open".

 

Video:

1. In the content tab, select Video.
2. Select the video from your device.
3. Wait until the uploading is complete.
4. Tap Done.

PDF: 

1. In the content tab, select PDF.
2. Select the PDF from your device.

 

 

Youtube/Vimeo: 

1. In the content tab, select Youtube/Vimeo.
2. Add the Youtube/Vimeo link and click Next when ready.
3. Then, to save, click Done.

Button: 

1. In the content tab, select Button.
2. Choose the type of Button that you want to add. You can select from regular links, social media. links, phone links, email links, payments links, and more!
   
3. Enter the information where visitors will be directed.
4. Add a label for the Button label (this is the text that will appear on the Button).
5. Then, to save, click Done.

*In addition to a button link, you can add contact and payment buttons, and create a page that houses all the important links you want to share with your audience.

 

Select content from existing boards and add it to your page. You can only select texts, links, videos, YouTube/Vimeo links, and images: 

1. In the content tab, select Content from my boards.
2. Browse through your boards. Select the content you want to add to your page, then click Insert when ready.

Reorder the content on your page:

To reorder your content, enter your page and click the Edit icon on the upper right side of the screen. You can reorder your content by dragging and dropping it in the order you want.

 

 

Edit content:

To edit content, enter your page and click the Edit icon on the upper right side of the screen. You can edit each piece of content by clicking on it and making the changes you want.

 

 

How to remove content from a page:

1. On the page, click the Edit icon on the upper right side of the screen
2. In the content tab, select the piece of content you want to delete and click the bin icon on the right.
3. Confirm your action.
